Here comes baby girl bee! 2009-2009

Couples of months ago, I couldn't even imagine how it could be possible for me (in the US) to join my wife, Elisa (in Singapore or Malaysia), in time to welcome the arrival of our first born. No matter how I do the calculations on possibility, the answer appears to be almost impossible. Let's face it. What's the chance to have the job re-arrangement to a place nearby and to work on something I am really excited about? What's the chance to have full supports from managers from both sites to make possible the job arrangement? What's the chance to have a neighbor volunteer cooking dinners for Elisa when she was in Singapore in her pregnancy? What's the chance to have a temporary rental which is only within walking distance to my Biopolis office (Note1)? Well, even all above are possible, I still wasn't sure if I can make it even after being re-arranged to Singapore, because there are still 4-5 hours away. The only thing we can do is simply pray, and the most merciful GOD says yes to all. Thank GOD and thank all who make it happen and pray for us!

The 49cm/2.9kg(6.5lbs) baby girl bee (or tigress) was finally arrived in September 20, 2009 in Muar, Malaysia. Put in the format DDMM-YYYY, her birthday is 2009-2009 (Note2). Although according to hospital policies, no family member is allowed to be inside the delivery room or even staying in the ward after 8:00pm, I thank GOD because I am the first one (with her sister, Yen Sing) to welcome Elisa from the delivery room.

Note1: The landlord is our close friend and marriage consultant, who recently bought that house.
Note2: This day in Singapore, there are ~630 couples registered for marriage certificates, 50% more than 0909-2009, simply because those couples want to pick 2009-2009 (the lucky number?)
